About Me

I am a May 2008 graduate of Millikin University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the Tabor School of Business. Looking back at my classes in my undergraduate study, my favorite courses included Economics and International Business. I took more than just the required courses for both of these fields. In order to further complement my Economic and International Business courses, I studied abroad for two weeks during a European Marketing Immersion course. I traveled from Amsterdam, to Paris, and then to Madrid meeting with CEOs and marketing executives to see how they compete in today's world economy.

With my background in business, you must be wondering how I became a web designer. Well, it's really just a hobby of mine. My first experience with web design was my junior year in high school when I took two semesters of HTML and CSS. Then, as a freshman in college, I studied web design again as part of a required computer course for business majors. Actually, I didn't do a whole lot of studying in this class, because most of the time I was teaching my classmates what I already knew.

I didn't get really zehrious about web design until my senior year in college. This is when I started to study web design in my free time. I have spent literally hundreds of hours on the W3C website, w3schools.com, and also with one of my favorite professors of all time, Dr. David J. Malan from Harvard University.

During this relatively short time as a web designer, I have completed a few very high quality websites, which you can find links to on my portfolio page. Being my own hardest critic, I work very hard on each of my projects, because in the end I want to be proud of each and every website that I create. I always make sure to pay very close attention to every last detail since that is what makes a good thing great. As far as the types of websites that I create, I am ready to impress you by building any kind of small business, organization, or personal website. I strongly believe that my web design skills are world class and can not wait to complete your website!
